The down payment is required in order to procure materials required to build LEES' exhaust systems. Therefore there are no refunds on down payments.

Please provide the following information to have your name added to the Cross Flow Dual Exhaust “Build List”. You will be assigned a priority number and future contact with you will be made by the priority number assigned. The “Build List” priority is for the first 200 systems only. Subsequent orders will be filled on a first come/first serve basis. Once we obtain the STC you will be contacted and have one week to make the 40% down payment. If we do not receive payment within 1 week your name will roll to the bottom of the list. Please remember this is a 30,000 aircraft market. LEES has already received a lot of inquiries and interest will grow exponentially once STC approval is granted. There is no guarantee on completion date if your name is not on the”Build List” so…… we suggest you sign up now!!

Those of you in the “Experimental Crowd” please submit the same information and your name will be added to the”Build List” in the priority we receive your data. We are currently in the process of tooling up and will build the Experimental Customer’s systems while we are conducting noise and flight testing for the STC customers.

The anticipated normal retail price is $4995.00. The down payment required will be $1998.00 with the balance due upon completion.

Now more Horsepower and unbelievable Prop Twisting Torque is possible simply by installing LEES’ new “Cross-Flow™ dual exhaust system. LEES has just completed the final test fit on a Cessna 185 model aircraft. The aircraft information listed below is for the airplane used for test fit. Dual 2-1/2” tailpipes exit the lower cowling. Two tailpipe exit holes will be required in the L/H and R/H side of lower cowling. Exhaust pipes in the photographs were tacked for final fit up. The exhaust is presently being fully TIG welded before being sent out for CMM.

Please review the new photos that accompany the “Power Monster Cross-Flow Dual Exhaust System”™. They provide a very good overview of LEES’ latest project. This project has been a long time coming and will satisfy the needs of a 30,000 airplane market. We are anticipating being able to conduct noise and flight testing later this year.

The “Power Monster Cross-Flow” ™ Dual exhaust system will be an FAA/PMA approved product for the Fully Certificated General Aviation Aircraft market.

*According to customer dyno tests. The latest dyno test was done at Lycon Engines using one of Ken's IO550 Exp. 11:1 compression ratio engines. It pulled 354 Hp and 668 pound feet of torque with the stock Cessna exhaust system @ 2700rpm and with Leading Edge Exhaust System's "Power Monster Cross-Flow™" dual exhaust, it pulled 381 Hp and 708 pound feet of torque @ 2700rpm, a 27 Hp gain and 40 pound feet of torque!

Post 55 Cessna 180 “Power Monster Cross-Flow”

This exciting new “Bad Boy” dual exhaust fits the later model Cessna 180 models that have a tighter fitting lower cowling than the Cessna 185 models. The only difference is in the tailpipe layout. We are going to have both Cessna 185 and post 55 Cessna 180 tailpipes installed for dyno tests. click here to view photos
